Invitation to Higher Ground: “Come up here…”

After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, “Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.”
2 Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne set in heaven, and One sat on the throne.

Revelation 4:1-2

The beginning of everything new and every change that God will bring to pass in and around us begins with what He chooses to show us. Abraham was told to go to a place He (God) would show him. One of the assignments of the Holy Spirit is to show us things to come. “Higher ground” simply stated is a call to keep growing in Christ. God has more in store for you. Do we want that? May it be so for all who yearn for better. May we go on to higher ground.

Prayer Points

1. Thank God for the Scriptures. They are the Word of God and in them we find true wisdom.
2. Thank God that you made it to 2019, and for the plans that he has for you.
3. Let us ask for the Lord to grant us a deeper revelation of Him and His purposes. Let him know we want to go up not lower. Ask Him for grace for this week of fasting and prayer.
4. Declare higher ground in your life and your family. Your declarations are powerful and faith building.
