Divine Breakthrough
What If Nothing Happens?
Stop thinking like that! Well, let’s do a little dissecting.
After 21 days of adding fasting to prayer, what if nothing happens and we are still where we were? What if God does not answer our prayer?
Here’s my encouragement to you:
Those questions are from the enemy. And sounds like the famous “fiery dart” words in the Garden of Eden “Has God said?” brothers and sisters, satan has not changed his stripes. The wiles are still the same and may we learn and understand so that we are not fooled and that “he does not get an advantage over us.” Just like Jesus fired a couple “it is written” torpedoes towards satan in the wilderness, here’s your “shield of faith to quench the fiery darts of the enemy” with a hefty side of “it is written:”
Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things?
Isaiah 66:8 NKJV
Shall the earth be made to give birth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once?
For as soon as Zion was in labor, She gave birth to her children.
It is written, “Call upon me and I will show you great and mighty things you do not know of.”
It is written “Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.“
Your Breakthrough Is Here
I want to remind you that God is faithful. He is the Alpha and Omega. Before you thought it wise to come into a time of fasting and prayer He was already involved. Your decision and being intentional have only galvanized His great power and grace in your direction. Did you know that those who seek Him with fasting prayer receive Great grace? Great grace is a biblical concept, a multiplied and varied supply of grace to everyone who set time apart to seek the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Believe it and you will receive it!
Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common. 33 And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all.
Acts 4:32-33 NKJV
The Holy Spirit’s Help
Jesus’ assignment on earth was just for three and one-half years. In His 33 years on earth, He accomplished the impossible. Because of Him, we have access to the Father and we receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. When the first Church of Jerusalem was launched on Pentecost Day, Peter made it clear that the Holy Spirit was the gift of God to all who would believe.
Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.”
Acts 2:38 NKJV
This same message was echoed when Philip preached to the City of Samaria. A revival broke out and multitudes in the city surrendered to Jesus as demons fled from many possessed as a result of God’s Holy Fire of revival.
Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria and preached Christ to them. 6 And the multitudes with one accord heeded the things spoken by Philip, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. 7 For unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, came out of many who were possessed; and many who were paralyzed and lame were healed. 8 And there was great joy in that city.
Acts 8:5-8 NKJV
Well, what happened after the whole city repented and turned to Jesus? The Apostolic Council in Jerusalem sent Peter and John for one purpose. Can you see the purpose in the text below?
Now when the apostles who were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent Peter and John to them, 15 who, when they had come down, prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit. 16 For as yet He had fallen upon none of them. They had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 17 Then they laid hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit.
Acts 8:14-24 NKJV
The Holy Spirit lives inside us, He falls upon us baptizing us for enduement and he fills us from time to time for replenishment. These three manifestations of the Holy Spirit are the complete revelation for the church. Whole church denominations who rejected this truth have fallen by the wayside. Why? Very simple! An incomplete house will fall to the elements. Brothers and sisters complete your experience. Ask the Lord for the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.
If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”
Luke 11:13 NKJV
Be blessed to overflowing in 2024. Congratulations!
