Day 28

Desire and Receive the Power of the Holy Spirit

7 He replied, “The Father alone has the authority to set those dates and times, and they are not for you to know. 8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Acts 1:7-8 NLT

This power is available to us now! If the Holy Spirit has not come upon you- ask! You can be prayed for in a simple way and you will not remain the same! He makes everything that seems hard easier and will equip you greater for His purposes! I experienced this myself.

Love to you all! Bible Reading month has been awesome!

    Kevin says:

We are so dependent on power in our society. We depend on power to wake us up in the morning through an alarm clock. Power heats our morning coffee, it lights up our house. Our Car starts on power. We go to work and power operates our business through electricity. We depend on it to heat our offices. In fact when power goes out most businesses will close till it resumes. Even our daily communication with loved ones is centered around power and our cell phones. Can you imagine if our world suddenly had no power and we were thrust into the dark ages? What life would be like without power? I looked at today’s verse and thought of this. “But you will receive “Power” when the Holy Spirit comes upon you.” When we walk through life and don’t tap into the Holy Spirit and His power for our lives its like we are living in the dark ages. I can’t imagine living in a world with no power, we should also take that same stand with I can’t imagine living in a world without Holy Spirits Power in my life.
