Day 20

Spiritual Strength

When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, 15 the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth. 16 I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. 17 Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. 18 And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is.

It is The Fathers will that all His people understand how long, how wide and how deep His love is. Don’t let that sneaky devil tell you anything else about the love of God. Thank you Lord for your unfailing everlasting love.

    Kevin says:

It says in the verse today I pray that He will empower you with inner strength through His spirit. I was up for the last 2 nights very sick and very tired. I needed to take prednisone to decrease the swelling so I was literally drained of all my energy. I had trouble getting out of bed. I texted pastor I wouldn’t be coming to church. Then the church prayed for me and it was like a supernatural strength came from my spirit at the same time they were praying and all of a sudden I had the strength and energy to get up get dressed and drive to church. Not only did I make it to church but that inner strength has sustained me all day. It’s true as the verse says today there is power when we pray for others that they can be empowered as we pray. I know it’s not a coincidence that at the same time they were praying empowering inner strength came upon me. And it’s true as the verse says we trust more in Him as we see things like this and are roots grow deeper too. Thank you Father God for your powerful scriptures and thank you Joy Fountain Family for your faithfulness to prayer.
