All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. 17 God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.

The scriptures have an irreplaceable place in our lives. It is very clear that it is what God uses to prepare and equip us as followers of Jesus for every good work. No wonder Paul writes in his epistle to Timothy to give attention to the public reading of the scriptures.
I like the part “it prepares and equips us to do every good work” sometimes we think we can do good works just because we’re christians or just because we’re saved or even some people who don’t know Christ try to do good works. Imagine trying to do any task when your not properly prepared or equipped. But that’s how we operate sometimes without the word. Only the word can “Prepare and equip us” for the every good work. So good!
So thankful for the word of God, it’s truly a light and a clear path to follow, it corrects me and even when I have made a bad decision I can’t stay in peace until I do what is right, it has taught me so much , I can’t even walk over a piece of garbage and not be able to pick it up.
???? that piece of garbage situation? I have been there too many times. Yes the word truly convicts us of right and wrong in God’s eyes
