Grace: Waiting for God’s Time

and did not know her till she had brought forth her firstborn Son. And he called His name Jesus.

Matthew 1:25

The truth is that it is only by the grace of God that we are able to do as Joseph did by restraining himself. Joseph waited for God to complete His work in Mary as far as the Messiah’s birth was concerned before engaging with her in sexual intercourse. Joseph honoured the Lord. It is only by Divine Grace that we can wait for anything in our lives while still honoring the Lord in everything we do. May Christ be with your Spirit.
