Sunday, September 8, 2019 DO NOT LOSE FAITH # 2 Don’t let loose faith become lost faith -Quintessential believer, Mary, stayed home. Luke 10:38-42, John 10:17-21 -It appears that Mary's faith was loose because Lazarus had died. Luke 10:28, -If your faith is loosening up leave the “mourners”, and firm up towards Jesus. What and how you SEE will impact how you SEED yourself -Martha went out to meet Jesus. John 11:20 -Didn’t know as much as Mary, neither had she spent as much time under the influential teaching of Jesus. -Martha used the one rebuke, the one lesson, the one correction to connect to a higher level of faith and practice -Martha pulled Mary up from losing faith. John 11:28-29 God has prepared imperfect “Martha” types for our lives. -So that what you have will not be lost or taken from you -To firm up our faith -Someone we can respond to -Someone who won’t use our past or flaws against us A word from the Lord by His Spirit: “I work in you to believe, now you have to work through Me to become” --------------------------------------------------------------- Joy Fountain Church is a church located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
