MESSAGE NOTES Jesus and Divine Timing Luke 4:16-21 While God alone knows the timing of things in His power, His Timing appears connected to the Right Person, Right Place and Right Thing Example: Peter in Jerusalem continuing in Prayer with the other disciples for the Pentecost outpouring. 7 key things about Divine Timing in Jesus’ life:- 1. Obedient (subject) to His parents for 18 years. Luke 2:41-52 2. Served in the synagogue regularly. Luke 4:16-21 3. Once at the age of 12 He was missing for three days in Jerusalem. Luke 2:45-49 4. Submitted to His second cousin John the Baptist’s ministry in order to access His own (calling) ministry. Luke 4:21 5. Fasted for 40 days in the wilderness and within which He resisted the devil's temptation storm 6. He grew in favour with God and man. Luke 2:40 7. He was full of the Holy Spirit, led by the Holy Spirit and filled with the Holy Spirit’s power. Luke 4:1,14-15. Jesus asks a very valid question Luke 18:1-8: When the Son of Man returns “how many will He find on the earth who have faith?” It is by being a person full of faith that we find the right place and right thing for the right results Solution for lasting faith? Just like Jesus prayed for Peter we need to pray for our faith not to fail.
