Amazing God: “Conduct For Miracles”
Scripture Text: Please read Colossians 3:1-25 and note what the Spirit points out as you read.
Welcome to Day 14, our last day. He has been faithful as always!
Congregational Conduct For Miracles!
It is one thing to be a candidate and a conduit for miracles. And yet another to enjoy the reality of the miraculous. The candidate and conduit are statutory positions for every Christian; however, statutory does not make it an experience. As children of God, we have been made partakers of Divine DNA. To experience miracles as a norm, we must conduct ourselves in a manner that guarantees the work of miracles. In other words, we must be intentional. When the Jews asked Jesus in John 6, “What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?” He answered, “This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.” To “believe” means to go entirely “all in” on Jesus, not sitting on the periphery of faith.
In Acts 10, we read of Peter going up to the rooftop of the house he was staying at to pray. It was apparent Peter was fasting because, at the 6th hour, the scripture says, “he became very hungry, and while they made ready he fell into a trance.” Peter was conducting Himself just like the master, seeking the Lord’s will in prayer. Prayerless believers will not hear much from heaven regarding God’s agenda and, for that reason, will not be prepared to carry it out. The same Peter admonished us, “Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul, having your conduct honorable among the Gentiles, that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may, by your good works which they observe, glorify God in the day of visitation.” 1 Peter 2:11-12 NKJV
Teach Us Your Ways, Oh Lord!
Finally, as we end these 14 days of fasting prayer today, we must remember that conduct for pleasing God is impossible if He does not teach us His way. “He made known His ways unto Moses, His acts unto the children of Israel.” In the first church in Jerusalem, the people respected and honored the apostles who led them and performed extraordinary miracles (see Acts 5:12-13.) No wonder they saw a great move of God. In Canada today, one of the most despised groups of people is the Christian minister class. The government calls people like myself “ministers of religion” or clergy. That could change when notable miracles begin showing up among God’s people. An excellent 2025 awaits us in Him! Teach us your way, Oh Lord! Amen!

Let Us Pray Using The Model Jesus Taught
Our Father In Heaven, Hallowed Be Your Name
Psalm 8:1-9. Father in Heaven, we praise your Holy name today and always in Jesus’ name. Use the words in the scriptures to exalt the Father. He longs to hear our worship.
Your Kingdom Come, Your Will Be Done On Earth As It Is In Heaven
Pray for yourself and the church of God that we will never use what the Lord has given us to serve the idols of this world.
- Isaiah 8:18. Declare this a year of signs and wonders in you and your family’s life in Jesus’ name.
- Mark 16:15-16. Prophesy miracles of all kinds in the church and everywhere in the name of Jesus. Pray that this becomes a regular occurrence in Jesus’ name.
- John 3:16. Pray that the church will love the lost, just like Jesus did.
- Isaiah 59:19 Stand in Jesus’ Authority against the flood of laws rising against the church seeking to limit what God has called us to do. Holy Spirit, we raise a standard against the flood of satan in Jesus’ name.
Give Us This Day our Daily Bread…
John 6:27-33. Pray that today and always, we will be satisfied with the bread of heaven. Pray for every new believer that they may grow in Christ as they start with feeding on the sincere milk of God’s word. 1 Peter 2:1-3
And Forgive Us Our Debts As We Forgive Our Debtors…
Matthew 5:23. We are bombarded daily with opportunities to harbor hatred and resentment toward others. Lord, grant us the grace to walk free from unforgiveness. Lord, today, I release every offender and every offense. I consciously choose not to walk in offense in Jesus’ name.
And Do Not Lead Us Into Temptation But Deliver Us From The Evil One…
- 2 Cor. 11:14. Pray for our eyes to be opened to the devil’s tricks no matter how covered the deception comes
- 2 Cor. 2:11. Make declarations according to 2 Cor. 2:11: “satan shall not have an advantage over me, my household, my church, etc, in Jesus’ name. Cover every area you can think of.
For Yours Is The Kingdom And The Power And The Glory Forever. Amen!
Close your session with praise for Him, Who is King and Lord forever.
