Day 10

January 15, 2025. The Amazing God!

Amazing God: “Silver And Gold Are Mine Says The Lord”

Scripture Text: Please read Psalm 105:26-45 and note what the Spirit points out as you read.

Welcome to Day 10.

Oppressed For A Season

Anyone in Egypt observing the children of Israel for the 430 years they lived in the land, most of which was in servitude to the Egyptian citizenry, would conclude that they would never amount to anything of value as a distinct nation with peculiar customs and practices. What the Egyptian higher caste didn’t realize and what the Children of Israel might have forgotten was that God had a covenant with Abraham. In the covenant agreement, the Lord had detailed this exact situation long before it happened and how He would bring them out with great possessions. Hear the Lord God in His own words, recorded in Genesis 15:12-14, “Now when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and behold, horror and great darkness fell upon him. Then He said to Abram: “Know certainly that your descendants will be strangers in a land that is not theirs, and will serve them, and they will afflict them four hundred years. And also the nation whom they serve I will judge; afterward, they shall come out with great possessions.

Enter A New Season

God brought them out at the appointed time by the hand of His prophet Moses 14 generations later. I like that they didn’t leave Egypt empty-handed. They went out with gold, silver, and choice items of value that the terrified Egyptians willingly offered them. David, the sweet Psalmist of Israel, resonates with this in his experience with those who stood by him during Saul’s tyrannical rule in Psalms 66:10-12: “For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried. Thou broughtest us into the net; thou laidst affliction upon our loins. Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water, but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place.” (KJV)

The New Prophetic Class

The world is getting darker as the enemy wages a “war of attrition” more vicious than we imagined. Deception appears to be at an all-time high. Thankfully, the Lord has always called His prophets out of the reserve bench at a time of need. And just as we read in Hosea 12:13, “By a prophet, the Lord brought Israel out of Egypt, And by a prophet, he was preserved,” a new and brilliant company of apostles and prophets has risen. “Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem: Believe in the Lord your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper.” And how do we find the true prophets? Jesus told usBeware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore, by their fruits, you will know them. Matthew 7:15-20 NKJV

Host His Presence

Let Us Pray Using The Model Jesus Taught

Our Father In Heaven, Hallowed Be Your Name

Psalm 84:1-4Father in Heaven, we praise your Holy name today and always in Jesus’ name. Use the words in the scriptures to exalt the Father. He longs to hear our worship.

Your Kingdom Come, Your Will Be Done On Earth As It Is In Heaven

Pray His will for Churches looking for space. Many growing Churches in Canada are frustrated due to zoning rules and regulations that do not favor churches. When we pray, the “Amazing God” will amaze His people with miracles.

  1. Psalm 66:10-12. Begin to declare the will of God, saying, “oppression, poverty and servitude is not forever. They only last for a season.” Call out a new season in Jesus’ name.
  2. Exodus 10:24-26. Let us pray that the Lord put the resources the church needs in the hands of His people to possess places and spaces He has marked for Himself.
  3. Exodus 23:20-30 Pray for the Lord to lead Joy Fountain by his angel to the land he has prepared for the future.
  4. Isaiah 59:19 Stand in Jesus’ Authority against the flood of laws rising against the church seeking to limit what God has called us to do. Holy Spirit, we raise a standard against the flood of satan in Jesus’ name.

Give Us This Day our Daily Bread…

John 6:27-33. Pray that today and always, we will be satisfied with the bread of heaven. Pray for every new believer that they may grow in Christ as they start with feeding on the sincere milk of God’s word. 1 Peter 2:1-3

And Forgive Us Our Debts As We Forgive Our Debtors…

Matthew 5:23. We are bombarded daily with opportunities to harbor hatred and resentment toward others. Lord, grant us the grace to walk free from unforgiveness. Lord, today, I release every offender and every offense. I consciously choose not to walk in offense in Jesus’ name.

And Do Not Lead Us Into Temptation But Deliver Us From The Evil One…

  • 2 Cor. 11:14. Pray for our eyes to be opened to the devil’s tricks no matter how covered the deception comes
  • 2 Cor. 2:11. Make declarations according to 2 Cor. 2:11: “satan shall not have an advantage over me, my household, my church, etc, in Jesus’ name. Cover every area you can think of.

For Yours Is The Kingdom And The Power And The Glory Forever. Amen!

Close your session with praise for Him, Who is King and Lord forever.
