Grace: God Used Imperfect People

Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not wanting to make her a public example, was minded to put her away secretly.

Matthew 1:19

In today’s verse we see that God used ordinary imperfect people just like you and me in the greatest rescue plan in human history. Joseph was called a righteous man. He was also emotionally conflicted by what was happening, finding Mary with child unsure of who the father was. Grace is God calling you equipping you and using you despite your imperfections and emotional dispositions just like Joseph.
