2 Samuel 17:1, 2 Timothy 2:22, 

1. Christians must live a life of spiritual pursuit. Hebrews 12:14, 1 Corinthians 14:1

• Many are discouraged by spiritual battles. 2 Samuel 17:1

2. When answers to prayer appears delayed, four things are key:

• Divine timing may be at play. 

• Know your rights and privileges in Christ.

• Intense spiritual battles and opposition from dark forces. 2 Corinthians 2:11

• Always focus on “what God is doing now” not what He has not done 

3. What must we Pursue? Hebrews 12:14

• Without Peace and Holiness we cannot “see” God. Peace with God before peace with humankind. Romans 5:1

• The finished work of Christ is positional holiness

• Positional Holiness is complete in us when it controls our lives. Romans 6:13-22

• Positional must become Personal 

• Repentance is a divinely provided fulcrum upon which our spiritual lives advance. Use it.

4. The practice of our Faith is our Pursuit
