Giving Thanks for the Church

- Thank God for grace and peace in His church despite all the plans and effort of the enemy to bring disturbance.
- Thank God for making you a part of the body of Christ through the local church
- Praise God for those whose lives are being changed through the ministry of the local church
- Make a list of things you are thankful for today and praise God for them with the fruit of your lips
Sample Prayer (Pray Out Loud)
Heavenly Father,
On this special day that we as a nation give thanks, I want to thank you for your grace and that we can come to you in prayer. Lord God in heaven, thank you for your love for humanity, for me and for my family. Thank you for sending Jesus to take our place on the cross, for the forgiveness of sin and for the gift of the Holy Spirit. I thank you that you have by your mercy made me a member of your family through the Church of Jesus Christ. I thank you for the Church and your peace that reigns in congregations and for the lives that are being changed from day to day through the preaching of your word in churches throughout our country.
Today I pray according to your word for our (my) church Joy Fountain as well as every other local assembly of believers in the city of Winnipeg where your name is proclaimed. I ask for your protection and provision for the church. I ask for growth because you said the enemy shall not prevail against us. I thank you for your faithfulness and your power to do the impossible.
I come against all the schemes of the evil one and pray that his lies are exposed.
Thank you, Father, as I (we) ask all these things and receive them through Jesus Christ my (our) Lord.

Thank you lord to be able to be able to see the beauty in the world , even if some days it can also cause pain My days of life and family’s life is the most important and I am thankful for this. That we have a fruitful life and understand how fortunate in life we really are
