Bike for Joy

Bike for Joy is our Special Summer Mission fundraising event. This will be the first time we will be doing this as a church community. Participants are welcome to join in a morning family bike ride (total distance is about 12.5 km).

The goal will be to get some exercise, foster great fellowship in great weather, and support missions. This is considered an entry-level event that could be done by the whole family.

100% of funds raised will be used to support clean water in Menkao (#6 on the map below) a rural community in West Congo.

What you will need

Your Bike, Water bottle, Appropriate Summer Clothing, Sunscreen, Safety Helmet.

Meeting and Start Point

This year we will be riding a portion of the Transcona Trail. We will meet at the Train on Plessis Road at The Rotary Heritage Park

Start time: 10am

Please park your vehicles at the Library and the No Frills store on Plessis.

Adult – $10 per adult

Child – $5  per child aged 12 and under

Family – $25 per family
